After many, many years of helping keep your favorite shoes going strong… we have a bittersweet update.

Our incredible cobbler, Tom Pell, will be retiring, and as of May 1st, 2026 we will no longer be offering cobbler services through our stores.

This is truly a craft we’ve been proud to offer for as long as we can remember—and we are so grateful for the trust you’ve placed in us (and in Tom!) over the years.

As many of you know, cobbling is becoming a rare trade, but we’re hopeful that if we find the right partner to continue offering this service, we can bring it back in some way—and you’ll be the first to hear about it.

In the meantime, please join us in wishing Tom all the best in his well-deserved retirement!
